Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – October 26, 2017

The LaSalle Vipers beat the Legionnaires 5-3 in Sarnia on Thursday.

Broden Meloche, Jack Bowler, Aaron Shaw, Bradley Vincent and Frank Zak all scored once for LaSalle.

The Vipers return home on Wednesday to take on the St. Thomas Stars at 7pm.

Also in the GOJHL, the Leamington Flyers dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the St. Marys Lincolns.

Blake Johnson and Zach Guilbeault scored the two goals for Leamington.

The Flyers return to the ice on November 2 to battle the LaSalle Vipers in Leamington at 7:10pm.

In Junior C hockey, the Blenheim Blades fell 4-1 to the Amherstburg Admirals.

Travis Campbell led the Admirals with two goals, while Cory Burns and Ryan Holzel both scored once.

Drew Marlatt scored Blenheim's only goal of the game.

The Admirals are in Mooretown on Saturday to face off against the Flags at 7:30pm. And then on Sunday, the Blades are on home ice to take on the Essex 73's at 7pm.

As well, the Dresden Kings edged the Petrolia Flyers 4-3.

Kevin Ritzer led scoring for Dresden with two goals, while Derek Shaw and Nolan VandenBoorn score a goal each.

The Kings return home on Friday to take on the Essex 73's at 7:30pm.
