The Chatham Maroons will have one more shot at a preseason win next week against Sarnia.
Chatham lost to St. Thomas last night 3-2, to fall to 0-and-3 so far in exhibition play.
Noah Bushnell opened the scoring for Chatham with a goal in the first period assisted by Thomas Michaud.
The Stars answered back with a pair of goals in the second before the Maroons tied things up early in the third period with a goal from Cameron Welch.
Jake Desando sealed the game for St. Thomas, though, by scoring the game-winner with three and a half minutes left in the third period.
Nolan Hakr and Kyle Droge split the game in net for Chatham, combining for 28 saves on 31 shots.
The Maroons' final game of the pre-season is on Tuesday, September 5 at 7pm against the Sarnia Legionnaires at Memorial Arena in Chatham.
