Express Make Another Signing

The Windsor Express put another player on contract for the coming season.

The team announced Wednesday that they had signed forward Brian Bridgeforth for the 2017-18 NBLC season. Bridgeforth, who stands 6' 10", comes to Windsor from Washington Adventist University, where he was named Men's College Basketball Player of the Year by Fitness magazine his senior season.

He started in all 28 games for the Shock last season, leading the team in average per-player offence with over 19 points per game. He also averaged 11 rebounds per game. He was the NAIA Division Two leader in blocks-per-game, averaging about three per contest.

“I'm really excited as a first-year player and especially to be with the Windsor Express,” Bridgeforth said in a statement from his hometown of Washington DC. “I’ve heard a lot of great things about the team and about the coaches and the owner, too.”

In accordance with team policy, contract details were not disclosed.

Bridgeforth is invited to the Express' training camp in late November. The regular season begins in late December.
