Jamieson Junior Golf Tour Results

Strong winds and cooler weather made for a challenging day on the links for the sixth event of the Jamieson Junior Golf Tour.

There were 84 players in the mix at Kingsville Golf and Curling Club for Monday's competition.

In Junior Boys' Division, Luc Warnock took the top spot, shooting a two-under par 70. He got off to a rough start by double-bogeying his first two holes, but after that, he cleaned up his game and went six-under through the final 16 holes.

It was a close finish in the Junior Girls' division, with Jasmine Ly shooting a 76 to narrowly beat out Shannon Coffey, who finished second with a 78.

In the Collegiate Mens' Division, Thomas Demarco edged out Brendan Seys by one stroke. Demarco fired a two-under par 70 while Seys placed second with a 71.

The closest competition of all was in the Collegiate Womens' Division. Megan Schauer and Madeline Byrne both shot 79s, so they needed a playoff hole to settle the score. Byrne ended up pulling out the win with a par on the par-5 playoff hole.

The next stop on the Jamieson Tour is the Ambassador Golf Club on Wednesday, July 26.
