Sports Briefs - Tuesday, April 4, 2017

The Chatham-Kent Wildcats U12 Major Atom Boys basketball team returned from the Ontario Cup in Niagara with bronze medals.

They were trailing after the first quarter, but managed to turn things around to mount a successful come-from-behind win against the North Toronto Huskies in the bronze medal game. Isiah Dunlop led the way with 12pts for the Wildcats in the 42-28 win.

The only loss the team suffered over the weekend was in overtime against the eventual gold medalist team -- the Cambridge Centaurs.
