The home team started first with the offence.  Keir Cumming scored at just 2:26 into the opening period.   The Flags tied it up at 6:52 on a power play score from Greg Hay, though the Blades would regain the lead 63 seconds before first intermission with a Drew Marlatt goal.

The Blades then exploded in the second period with four straight goals. Delyzer scored the first of his two in the period at 3:23.  Next came Nate Broek's goal just before the five-minute mark.  Zach Horvath found the net on the power play at 10:10, and Delyzer followed suit just over three minutes later.  Mooretown's Nolan Riley got a goal back for the Flags before the break, though the score was 6-2 Blenheim at that point.

Ben Morrison picked up a Mooretown goal in the third period.  Eric Stewardson had 32 saves for Blenheim in goal, while Mooretown goalie Nolan Hakr stopped nine out of 15 shots.
