Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – December 30, 2016

The Lakeshore Canadiens shutout the Essex 73's 3-0 on Friday for their fourth straight win.

Michael Long, Jake Nimmo, Kyler Carter all scored once.

The 73's are on home ice on Tuesday to take on the Dresden Kings at 7pm. And on January 6, the the Canadiens face the Amherstburg Admirals at home at 7pm.

As well, the Amherstburg Admirals crushed the Wallaceburg Lakers 11-1.

Cory Burns and Zack Yott led the Admirals with two goals each. Travis Campbell, Dylan Muzzatti, Ryan Alexander, Caleb Paquette, Aaron Jacobs, Mark MacPherson and Austin Jennings all score one.

Ty Lucio scored Wallaceburg's only goal.

The Lakers will head to Wheatley on Monday to battle the Sharks at 7pm. And then on January 6, the Admirals travel to Lakeshore to face off against the Canadiens at 7pm.

And Dillon Liberty led the Dresden Kings to a big 10-4 victory over the Wheatley Sharks.

Liberty was top scorer for the Kings with a hat trick, while Kevin Ritzer and Macks Holmes both scored twice. Noah Fox, Eric Carter and Kadin Ritchie both scored once.

Jake Pickersgill led Wheatley with two goals, while Michael Travis and Delaney MacDonald each scored a goal.

The Sharks are at home to take on the Wallaceburg Lakers at 7pm on Monday. And on Tuesday, the Kings are in Essex to face the 73's at 7pm.
