The LaSalle Vipers edged the Sarnia Legionnaires 4-3 in GOJHL action on Wednesday.
Sarnia scored just over a minute into the first period, but the Vipers took a 3-1 lead before the second. After no scoring in the second frame, the Legionnaires made another two goals, but another point from LaSalle kept them in the lead for the win.
Tyler Russell led LaSalle with two goals, while Brett Primeau and Daniel Beaudoin each had one.
The Vipers take on the Lambton Shores Predators next on Saturday at 7:30pm.

In the PJHL, the Wallaceburg Lakers tied the Blenheim Blades 2-2 after no scoring in overtime.
A scoreless first period was followed by the Blades taking a 2-1 lead in the second. The Lakers scored just over 12 minutes into the third to force the OT period.
Brayden Hopkins and Nate Broek scored one goal each for Blenheim. Cory Lucier and Trevor Waller scored Wallaceburg's two goals.
The Blades will take on the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals at home on Thursday at 7pm. On Saturday, the Lakers travel to Mooretown to face off against the Flags at 7:30pm.
