The 24-year-old, who plays for the Western Mustangs, was selected by the Edmonton Eskimos last night.
Woodman, who plays defensive back, went 44th overall to the Eskimos with the final pick in the fifth round of the draft.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
