The Detroit Lions open the 2016 regular season on the road in Indianapolis.
The NFL's released this year's schedule, which has the Lions playing three of their first four games on the road. Their longest home-stand is three games, week 5 to 7. The team never plays more than two games in a row away from Ford Field.
Detroit's home opener goes September 18 at 1pm, against the Tennessee Titans.
Not including the traditional Thanksgiving Day game, in which the Lions host Minnesota this year, the Lions will only be featured in one prime time game. That's a Monday Night Football game, week 16 in Dallas.
