Matthew Hebert led Essex with two goals, while Griffin McCarty, Matthew Rosati and Eric Shaw scored one each.
Caleb Paquette and James Brooks both scored two for the Admirals.
The win gives the 73's their fifth consecutive Great Lakes Junior C championship. Essex will play the Dorchester Dolphins in the next round of the 2016 Schmalz Cup Playoffs.
