Spitfires Face Sting Tonight

The Windsor Spitfires are hoping to extend a five game winning streak when they take on the Sting tonight in Sarnia.

The teams are battling for first place of the division with only eight games left until playoffs. "We're neck in neck, there's one point difference between us and Sarnia, I think we have the same amount of games left and three games head to head. Fate is in our hands and it's obviously the most exciting time of the year," says Assistant Coach Jared Smith.

He says the team feels confident heading into this game. "We feel as a staff we're playing some of our best hockey this season so these are three important games this weekend against three really good teams," says Jared. The Spitfires have two games at home this weekend. They face the North Bay Battalion on Saturday and the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday.
