A big second period was the difference in the Wheatley Shark's 6-3 victory over the Alvinston Flyers.
In Monday night's lone Junior C hockey game, Wheatley scored four goals in the second frame, including two powerplay markers.
Brett Bowman had three points for the Sharks, netting two goals and adding an assist. Wheatley's other goalscorers included Delaney McDonald, Jack Leafeve, Justin Pinsonneault and Frank Ciacelli.
