Amherstburg Admirals Try To Bounce Back

The Amherstburg Integrity Admirals say they will have to mentally refocus for tonight's game against Wheatley after a "tough" loss Sunday.

Head coach Paul Bortignon says his players need to be ready to go against a quick team like the Wheatley Omstead Sharks.

"The biggest thing for us is just neutralizing their speed," he says. "They got a lot of guys up front including (Brett) Bowman, who leads the league in points. So we know we got to focus on some of those guys."

He's feeling pretty confident heading into tonight after winning all three games against them this season.

But Bortignon hopes last night's 2-1 loss against Essex won't affect his team.

"We'll know that early on, see how our guys skate and how are guys move the puck and get in on the floor check," Bortignon. "If we do that early on in the game then I think we'll have a good chance tonight."

Puck drops at 7:30pm at Wheatley Area Arena.
