The Wallaceburg Lakers fell 7-3 to the Dresden Kings in Great Lakes Junior C hockey on Wednesday.
John Montgomery and Derrick VanEvery led the Kings with two goals each, while Dayne Davis, Phillip Clarke and Alex Hall each scored one.
Kadin Ritchie, Alex Ritchie and Justin Melo all scored once for the Lakers.
Dresden also out shot Wallaceburg 49-33.
The Lakers return to the ice on January 6 to take on the Mooretown Flags at 7:30pm. And then on January 8, the Kings face off against the Alvinston Flyers at 7:30pm.
