McGregor's senior boys basketball team lost 62-53 to Sarnia Northern.
Despite the loss, Panthers head coach Blake Handsor was happy with the way his team played.
"We made some mistakes in the first half, I call them fundamental mistakes, just not throwing the call crispy or cutting hard," says Handsor. "Those are little things that come back to bit you in the rear end later on."
McGregor gave up 41 points in the first half, but tightened things up in the second, allowing just 21 points.
The sharpshooting Vikings still managed to make 10 threes through the course of the game.
McGregor's Tyson Brown led all scorers with 17.
