The Windsor Spitfires are looking to break out of a slump that's seen them win just once in their last seven games.
Captain Patrick Sanvido says it starts with playing the right way at home against Mississauga tonight.
"It's just small mistakes that have hurt us in the long run -- they've come back to bite us in the butt. So I think fixing the small things, the details, should help us win a few more games."
One of those small things is the penalty kill which has surrendered 10 goals over the last seven games, operating at less than 66%.
Sanvido says special teams has been a focus in practice this week.
The team will travel to Sarnia tomorrow night before hosting Kitchener on Sunday.
