Maroons Visit Nationals Gunning For Second Place

A pair of Western Conference rivals face-off tonight when Chatham travels to London to play the Nationals.

Maroons forward Mark Fratarcangelli says they'll be in tough against a good opponent.

"We have our goal set right now that we have six games left and we want to finish in second by the Christmas break," says Fratarcangelli. "London is a good team, it's never easy playing in their barn, quick guys, big ice, they know how to play well in there so it's huge, we've got to be ready to go."

Chatham sits in third in the conference, just two points ahead of London, and two points back of St.Thomas for second place. The Maroons have won six of their last seven games while London has won three of their last four.

The last time these two teams played was November 15, when the Nationals beat the Maroons in Chatham 7-2.

Puck drop is set for 7:30pm.
