Another positive day for local high school teams in OFSAA competition Friday.
The CKSS Golden Hawks boys volleyball team beat Holy Cross 2-0 in AAA action. Chatham-Kent will now take on Uxbridge in the Consolation Semi Final this morning at 9am.
Meanwhile in AA girls basketball, Wallaceburg took a 42-34 victory over Eden. They then went on to beat LaSalle in dramatic fashion 43-38.
That means Wallaceburg will play Hammarskjold in the tournament semi-final at 11am Saturday. If they win that contest, they'll play for gold at 7pm.
