Sharks Host Flyers

The Wheatley Omstead Sharks host the Alvinston Flyers in game two of a home and home series.

Game one on Saturday ended in a 2-2 tie.

Flyers head coach Ted Archer says their biggest hurdle is the long bus ride from Wheatley from Alvinston.

"First period's tough to get your legs under you, and get everyone focused," says Archer. "We're getting better at those road games, but it's definitely a challenge. Bigger ice surface in Wheatley than Alvinston too."

"It's a pretty evenly matched game between the two teams," says Archer. "They took a couple suspensions, one on Friday night and a couple the game before, so that hopefully will gives us a bit of an advantage tonight."

Puck drop is set for 7:30pm in Wheatley.
