The Blenheim Blades and Essex 73's face off tonight in their first showdown this season in the Great Lakes Jr. C hockey league.
73's head coach Gil Langlois says it's always a tough game when you face Blenheim.
"They're a very competitive team and we haven't met them yet this year," says Langlois. "I think it will be a case where both teams are going to spend some time feeling each other out."
"They've added a few new players that have Jr. B experience so we expect a very good game," added Langlois. "We're going to have to play our best in order to come out on top."
Puck drop is set for 7pm in Essex.
