Canada's women's national team has won the FIBA Americas Championship and a spot in the 2016 Summer Olympics with a 82-66 victory over Cuba.
Windsor-native Miah-Marie Langlois had a full statline, earning a near double-double with 11 points and 8 assists. The University of Windsor product finished second throughout the tournament in assists, averaging 5.8/game.
Langlois also caught the attention from national basketball experts, including Sportsnet's Michael Grange.

Canada's women's squad now knows it will head to the Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The men's national team will try to do the same starting August 29.
