The Wallaceburg Thrashers lacrosse team had a slow start against St Catherine's Friday night, and couldn't recover as they fell to the Saints 14-10.
St Catharine's got off to an early 4-0 lead, including a three-goal burst in the span of a minute and a half.
From there it was an uphill climb for the Thrashers, with Clint Lamarsh being a bright spot with five points, including four goals. Mitchell Lilley and Winter Dockstater each chipped in two goals apiece for Wallaceburg.
The Thrashers willl be in action next on Sunday against the Oakville Titans at 7pm.
