Pain Court's Ross Krieger isn't giving up on his dream of playing in the OHL.
The 17-year-old forward wasn't drafted in the league's recent priority selection, but he's still getting ready to show off his skills alongside Windsor Spitfires prospects at an upcoming mini-camp.
"I think I was a little nervous at the Sarnia (Sting) camp, so I didn't really use my speed or my skills as much as I can, so I think that's my main goal for this camp," says Krieger, who adds he's not dwelling on the fact that he hasn't been picked up by an OHL team yet. "I just decided to put that behind me, focus on another goal, and use it as motivation to keep going and not stop at not getting drafted."
Krieger says he's also considering playing college hockey in the US if he can't earn a spot in the OHL.
