It had been closed since early September due to a mechanical issue stopping the bridge from opening for marine traffic.
The bridge was originally scheduled to open late next week.
It'll remain closed for the time being for boats.
People may also notice that the abandoned railway tracks on McNaughton Avenue have been removed, with the road being repaved.
