The Chatham man who died following an incident in Moraviantown is being remembered.
A celebration of life was held in Blenheim on Friday for Tyler Cartier.
Cartier was the 33-year-old Chatham resident who died unexpectedly on July 27 after an incident on River Line at Delaware Nation at Moraviantown two days earlier.
His obituary notes Cartier passed away with family by his side and will be dearly missed by many whose lives he touched along the way.
Cartier is survived by his spouse Chloe Lyons, their daughter Maizie Brooklyn, his parents Dennis and Tammy, sisters Elisha and Courtney, and sister-in-law Celina Lyons.
"Tyler was an amazing daddy to his daughter, and a best friend to his beloved dog, Leo. His love for his family was unmatched, and he will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him," stated the obituary.
Cartier is described as an active and social person who brought energy and laughter wherever he went and was known for his humour, kindness, and caring heart.
He also loved the outdoors, country music, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Buffalo Bills, and was passionate about volleyball, beach volleyball, golf, and most of all, baseball.
"Tyler’s passion for baseball was something special," his obituary revealed. "He was someone who could light up a room, make people laugh, and make those around him feel loved. His warmth, positivity, and genuine personality left a lasting impact on so many lives. Tyler created memories, shared happiness, and brought people together in a way that will never be forgotten."
