Two charged after gun, $500K in drugs seized

Two Chatham residents have been arrested and charged following a large drug bust in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police say they seized fentanyl and cocaine with a street value of almost $500,000, and a loaded handgun during a search at a home on Webb Street in Chatham on Thursday evening.

A 58-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man from Chatham face charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an unauthorized and restricted firearm, and careless storage of a firearm.
