Chatham man charged after crash in Lakeshore

A 50-year-old Chatham man is facing multiple charges after a single vehicle collision.

At around 1:40 a.m. on Friday, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision on Road 46 in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

When officers arrived, they reportedly found a vehicle in a ditch.

Police arrested the driver and charged him with two counts of operating a vehicle while impaired.

His licence was suspended for 90 days, while his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

He's scheduled to appear in a Windsor courtroom on September 17.
