Uttering Threats
Chatham-Kent police have charged a 28-year-old woman for allegedly threatening to kill her former roommate.
On Wednesday, police received a call from a man claiming that an ex-roommate had contacted him and threatened his life. The roommate was reportedly out on bail and was not allowed to contact the victim.
Police were given audio recordings from the man, which allegedly highlighted some of the recent encounters between the two.
Officers later found the roommate at an apartment on McNaughton Avenue, arresting and charging her with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and failing to comply with an undertaking.
She remains in police custody, awaiting a bail hearing.
