Blenheim woman charged after property manager allegedly assaulted

A 48-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly assaulting someone in Blenheim.

At around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, police were called to Flamingo Street.

When officers arrived, they were told about an altercation between a woman and a property manager.

It's alleged that the woman uttered several threats before grabbing the property manager's hair. Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

Police arrested the woman and charged her with three counts of assault and uttering threats.

She's since been released from custody with a future court date.
