Chatham-Kent police have charged a man and a woman for allegedly trafficking several different drugs.
On July 30, search warrants were conducted on two pickup trucks and a home in Chatham.
Officers reportedly found 63 grams of fentanyl, 15 grams of cocaine, 35 grams of methamphetamine, hundreds of capsules of hydromorphone, and multiple capsules of buprenorphine. The estimated value of these drugs is over $17,000.
A 57-year-old Chatham man and a 39-year-old Chatham woman were arrested. They've each been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Both have since been released from custody with a future court date.
A 66-year-old Chatham man was also arrested after being found at the home where the search took place. He was charged with possession of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine. He has also been released from custody.
