Sutherland Cup Champions announce home opener

The Chatham Maroons will open their 2025-2026 GOJHL season on the road on Saturday, September 13.

The defending Sutherland Cup Champions will hit the road to face the Rockets in Strathroy at 7:30 p.m.

The Maroons' home opener is set for Sunday, September 14, against the St. Thomas Stars at 7 p.m. at Chatham Memorial Arena.

The GOJHL released the full regular-season schedule on Wednesday morning. Other games of note include Chatham hosting the St. Marys Lincolns on Sunday, September 21 in a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals.

In pre-season action, the Maroons will face the Sarnia Legionnaires at home on Sunday, August 24 before heading to Sarnia for a road game on Tuesday, August 26.

The Maroons will follow that up with a pre-season game in LaSalle on September 3 and then a home game against LaSalle on September 7 after the Saginaw Spirit take on the Windsor Spitfires.

The Maroons' main camp is set for August 16 and 17 at Thames Campus Arena in Chatham, with a Maroon and White inter-squad game on Sunday, August 17 at 2:30 p.m.

That game is open to the public to attend, and admission is $5.
