Arrest made after bomb threat in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent police say a man from Chatham-Kent has been arrested after a bomb threat in Wallaceburg.

Police said officers responded to a report of a bomb threat on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg just after 9 a.m. on Monday and arrested a 50-year-old Chatham-Kent man.

Police said there is no threat to public safety at this time.

"Chatham-Kent police would like to reassure the community that the situation has been contained and there is no cause for concern," said CK police.
