The President and CEO of Entegrus has announced his retirement.
Jim Hogan confirmed Monday that he will retire in February 2026. This follows two and a half decades of service to the utility, 16 of which were spent at the helm.
"Jim's leadership has been instrumental in shaping Entegrus into the organization it is today," said Max Fantuz, Chair of the Entegrus Inc. Board of Directors. "His steady guidance, high standards, and deep commitment to the people and communities we serve have helped foster a strong culture of safety, operational excellence, and public trust."
Hogan joined Entegrus as Chief Financial and Regulatory Officer in 2001 and was appointed President and CEO in 2009. According to Entegrus, he was responsible for guiding the organization through a period of transformational change, marked not only by a series of mergers and acquisitions, but also by rapid shifts within the energy sector itself.
Hogan placed a strong emphasis on community involvement during his time as president, consistently supporting charitable organizations and investing in the municipality.
A formal announcement about the appointment of a new President and CEO will be made at a later date.
Entegrus operates and maintains electricity distribution systems for over 63,000 customers in Southwestern Ontario.
