Impaired Driving Charge
A Chatham man has been charged with impaired driving and failing to stop for police after Chatham-Kent police officers alleged that he was driving a scooter displaying signs of impairment.
Chatham-Kent police alleged the suspect didn't stop for police just before 1:40 a.m. on Saturday and was later found walking at a nearby park without his scooter.
The man's licence was suspended for 90 days and his scooter was impounded for seven days.

Shoplifting Charges
Chatham-Kent police are looking for a shoplifting suspect following thefts at three retail stores in Chatham on Thursday.
Police alleged a vehicle was later stopped in Wallaceburg and evidence obtained by officers was linked to the thefts.
A 36-year-old Windsor man was charged with possession of stolen property.
Anyone with information about the second suspect is asked to contact CK police or Crime Stoppers.
