Chatham-Kent firefighters had to battle smoke, flames, and strong wind gusts in Chatham Monday evening.
CK fire officials said crews from Stations #1 and #2 were called to 79 Patteson Avenue in Chatham just after 9 p.m. on Monday.
When the firefighters arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming out of the home, adding that there was "extensive fire" in the room where the blaze started.
