Drug Arrests
A drug charge has been laid against a 25-year-old Chatham man after Chatham-Kent police stopped a vehicle on Park Street in Chatham just before 4 a.m. on Thursday.
Police alleged a man was in possession of methamphetamine and charged him with possession of a controlled substance.
A 27-year-old Blenheim woman was also arrested, according to police.
Police alleged the woman had a curfew and was in breach of a release order by being away from her home at that time.
She has been charged with failing to comply with a release order.

Traffic Arrest
A 33-year-old Chatham man has been arrested after Chatham-Kent police alleged the vehicle's licence plates weren't registered to the driver or the vehicle.
Police said officers conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street W in Chatham on Wednesday at approximately 2:50 a.m. when they were alerted to an "unattached plate" by the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR).
According to CK police, officers also alleged the driver had two license suspensions on his driving record for failure to pay fines and for medical reasons.
Police noted the plates were seized and returned to the Ministry of Transportation.
The suspect was charged with using a plate not authorized for the vehicle and two counts of driving while under suspension.

Break & Enter Arrest
Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged a 48-year-old Chatham-Kent man following a break and enter.
Chatham-Kent police said they received two complaints of an insecure property on St. Clair Street near Grand Avenue in Chatham on Wednesday at approximately 6:55 a.m. and found the door to a vacant apartment had been kicked in.
Police noted they arrested one of the complainants based on evidence left at the scene and comments made by the man.
He has been charged with break and enter.
