The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 through Chatham-Kent should be clear again after a multi-vehicle collision early Thursday morning.
Elgin OPP with the Chatham-Kent detachment sent out a message shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday saying they closed down the eastbound lanes of the highway at Communication Road and Kent Bridge Road after a crash.
They sent out an update just before 10 a.m. Thursday to say the eastbound lanes had been re-opened at both of those on-ramps.
There were no injuries reported and there is no word on charges yet.
Police are reminding drivers to adapt their driving behaviours according to current weather, traffic, and road conditions.
