CK police continue R.I.D.E. programs into 2025
Chatham-Kent police conducted RIDE programs in Wallaceburg, Chatham, Tilbury, and Blenheim on Monday.
Police said that between 9 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. over 100 vehicles were checked and one roadside test was administered.
Both CK police and Ontario Provincial Police will be conducting R.I.D.E. programs on New Year's Eve and encourage drivers to have a plan to make it home safely.
If you plan to consume alcohol or drugs to ring in 2025, it's suggested that you find a designated driver or take public transportation, instead of getting behind the wheel.
