The Ontario Provincial Police shut down an illegal cannabis storefront in Leamington.
The Essex County OPP Community Street Crime Unit searched Island Fire Cannabis on November 6.
Investigators seized illegal dried cannabis, edibles, shatter, and vape cartridges. The seized items had an estimated value of $13,500.
The storefront has been shut down and will be held under Interim Closure Orders.
A 39-year-old woman from Chatham has been charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling, possession of illicit cannabis, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime. The charges have not been proven in court.
