Ages of victims in weekend boat crash released

Lambton OPP have released further details about two people killed in a boating crash over the weekend.

Shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, Lambton OPP, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton and United States Coast Guard responded to a single vessel crash on Pocket Bay at Walpole Island First Nation.

Police said two individuals, a 39-year old from Chatham and a 53-year-old from Stoney Point,  were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
