New doctor joins CKHA staff

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is adding another hospitalist to its staff.

Dr. Dalia Kashash brings plenty of experience in family centred care and said she is looking forward to joining the community.

"I am excited to join the CKHA team," Dr. Kashash said. "Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to working with such a collegial group."

CKHA's Acting Chief of Staff Dr. Zeke Milkovic is also enthusiastic about the new addition, citing Dr. Kashash's vast medical expertise.

"Her practice is focused on patient family centred care, strengthening our commitment to providing exceptional care to those in our community," Dr. Milkovic added.

In addition to her role as a hospitalist, Dr. Kashash will perform various small procedures at CKHA's Ambulatory Care department. Those procedures include newborn circumcisions, newborn tongue tie releases, skin biopsies, Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion and removal, as well as toenail procedures.

CKHA encourages anyone who's primary care provider doesn't offer these services to ask for a referral to Dr. Kashash.

Across it's locations in Chatham and Wallaceburg, CKHA's ever-growing team is comprised of about 1,500 staff, 200 physicians, and 300 volunteers.
