Two arrested for possession of stolen property
While on patrol early Sunday, Chatham-Kent Police Service located a vehicle belonging to a wanted party.
The suspect, a 39-year-old man from Toronto, was wanted in connection to multiple theft incidents in Chatham-Kent.
Officers arrested the suspect who was in the company of a 30-year-old York man who also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The two men were arrested and the vehicle seized. Police said it appeared to contain a large amount of stolen property.
A search warrant is pending for the vehicle.
Woman arrested for failure to comply with bail
Police arrested a 36-year-old Petrolia woman in Chatham on Saturday after she was found to be on bail conditions.
The woman was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
