Woman arrested for intimate partner violence
A 44-year-old woman is facing assault charges following a disturbance in Chatham.
At about 11 p.m. on Thursday, CK police were called to an address on Lorne Avenue in relation to the disturbance.
When officers arrived, they learned that an argument between a man and woman escalated resulting in a reported assault.
No injuries were sustained.
The woman was released from police custody with a future court date.

CK police make several warrant arrests
Chatham-Kent police have crossed a number of names off their wanted list.
On Wednesday, police began an investigation in connection to an aggravated assault.
A warrant was issued for a 46-year-old Camden Township man for charges including assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Provincial police located the man in his vehicle near Moravian Town at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The man was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, where he was processed and held pending a bail hearing.

A wanted woman was arrested on Thursday following a call from a concerned citizen.
At 11:30 a.m., police said they received a report of a woman running in the middle of an intersection in the town of Dresden. When officers arrived to check on the woman's wellbeing they determined that she was wanted on a warrant for failing to attend court.
The 42-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and later released with a new court date.

Early Friday morning, police found and arrested a 43-year-old Chatham woman who was wanted for failing to attend court.
Just before 4:30 a.m., officers located the woman during a wellness check in a back alley on King Street East in Chatham.
Police identified the woman as wanted and arrested her on the strength of the warrant.
The woman was taken to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

Police investigating break-and-enter
CK police are investigating a break-and-enter that resulted in about $200 worth of property being taken.
Police said unknown suspect(s) entered an enclosed porch and a parked vehicle at a home in the area of Llydican Avenue in Chatham.
The incident took place sometime between Wednesday and Thursday.
