Break and Enter

Police are asking for the public's help in a case involving a break and enter at a business on Grand Avenue near Keil Drive in Chatham.

According to police, officers were dispatched around 7:20 a.m. Saturday morning for reports of a store being broken into and items stolen.

Failure to comply with probation order

A 46-year-old Chatham man has been arrested Saturday evening after police located him at an address he is bound by a probation order not to attend.

He was arrested and released with a court date.

Theft under $5,000

A 42-year-old Chatham man has been arrested for theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property.

Officers said the man was observed allegedly stealing items from a store at St. Clair St. and Pioneer Line in Chatham.

The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended by the police a short distance away. He was released with a future court date.
