New Chatham hot-spot to feature 24-hour golf simulators

This fall Chatham residents will be able to golf 24/7.

It's not the first golf simulator business in the municipality, but it is the first in Chatham. It is also the first that will allow access to customers all day and night.

"All booking will be done online, you will be given a passcode to your phone when the booking is complete," explained co-owner Chris Beattie. "This passcode will give you access to our building 10 minutes before your scheduled time, and 10 minutes after. Once you walk into the building you can set up at the bay you scheduled, and start golfing."

Beattie said that videos on Top Shelf's website and posted in the golf bays will explain what to expect and how to use the software.

The golf simulators will be state-of-the-art and will be easy for golfers of all experience levels to use. The technology can be used to fine-tune the game of seasoned pros or to introduce the game to beginners.

The venue will feature more than just golf.

"We will have 5 bays, a billiards table, dart lanes, as well as a fantastic bar and lounge area," said Beattie. He added that only the golf bays will be open during the off hours.

"We are going for the full experience," said co-owner John Sulman. "Challenge your friends to a round, enjoy some food and drinks, experience golf in a whole new way, and have a great time doing it."

Top Shelf Indoor Golf is scheduled to open early in October 2024.
