Not rain, wind, humidity, or overcast skies will stop the CK Can Jam from kicking things off Monday.
"We are going for it. Unless it's a typhoon they are still going to paint. They are professional street artists they do this all over the place," said event organizer Sarah Tucker-Steele. "These people are going to be trying to complete full-scale murals over the course of five days. They are going to be painting from sometime early in the morning to evening time...it's less a time frame and more like during those days come downtown and take a peek."

With nine locations being transformed by 11 different artists from Monday to Saturday, Tucker-Steele knows everyone will be pleasantly surprised with the finished work.
"I am over the moon because I don't think Chatham-Kent has any idea what caliber of artist we are having come down...Initially, they were coming down to do whatever they wanted, and they still are, but a couple had asked to hear a little bit more about Chatham-Kent," said Tucker-Steele. "Some of them have really started gearing towards Chatham-Kent's culture...there's a lot of different ideas but they are going to be beautiful."
