LKDSB, ETFO ratify deal for Occasional Teachers

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) and the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario have ratified a collective agreement.

The announcement was made on Wednesday after a tentative deal was reached in May.

“We look forward to continued collaborative efforts that support success for every student, every day," said LKDSB Chair Randy Campbell.

The collective agreement is effective from September 1, 2022, to August 31, 2026.

LKDSB, which includes schools in Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent, previously ratified the local portion of a separate collective agreement with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) District 10 in April.
