K9 locates Break and Enter Suspects

Two males in their 30s are facing break and enter charges after they allegedly broke into a business on James Street in Wallaceburg.

According to police, they arrived on the scene at around 2:20 a.m. Saturday along with their K9 Helix and performed a search of the building.

Helix located the suspects, who were then brought to police headquarters. The 35-year-old Wallaceburg resident was released from custody, while the 34-year-old male, also from Wallaceburg, was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested for Mischief

A 27-year-old female is facing mischief charges.

Police said they responded to a call on Second Street in Chatham shortly before 8 p.m. Friday about a female who went to a residence and was looking for a child and began asking questions about the resident's own children.

According to police, they've had similar incidents involving this woman recently. She was arrested and released from custody with a future court date.
