UPDATE: Man found critically injured outside Dollarama

At around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man was found in the parking lot of the Thames Lea Plaza with obvious injuries.

According to police, the male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and later airlifted to Windsor Regional Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The parking lot in front of the Dollarama has been re-opened.

Police are thanking the public and the affected businesses for their patience during the closure.
